In our ever growing economy there are many different marketing programs. The internet is a boom of business with billions of people online each and everyday. Pay per click or "PPC" is a marketing program in which advertisers pay different web pages to advertise on their websites. This program is known as an affiliate model. Web pages have a set price in which an advertiser will pay everytime a searcher clicks on one of the advertisements. The way it works is a website makes money by allowing different advertisements on the page, this will pay when onlookers click on a certain ad. The advertisers benefit by getting the word out about their business or product. There are many famous websites that participate in the pay per click program such as: Yahoo, Google, and MSN. These websites generate a multitude of traffic each day in return this makes billions of dollars for different businesses and website owners. The results of your search when you enter a certain word into a search engine could be a pay per click ad that is making money each and everytime you click on it. The ads are usually at the top of the result page or on the right hand side. This is amazing, the internet is not just a way to find great information, but a great money maker if you are advertising a certain product or website. The pay per click program and Adwords Management benefits many people. There is no telling what the future holds in the marketing industry but pay per click is definitely a good start.
