A Place to Play and Relax for Adults, Kids, and Families

One of the many local parks which surround the town of Great Neck on Long Island's North Shore is a haven for anyone and everyone. It is especially beneficial to those with kids. During the warm summer months, there is a small water area that kids can run around in, have fun, and work off their pent up energy - there are also EZ up gazebos there where vendors set up impromptu stalls to sell refreshments. Also during the warmer months, the ice cream truck and Mister Softee make their rounds. The park is relatively large, and while it can get crowded, there is still a place for everyone. Dotted throughout the Park are many large trees. Benches and Tables can be placed under the trees for a little relief from the summer time heat. Parents can relax while kids run through the grass and play with one another. More ambitious parents can join their kids in their frolicking. They too would then deserve a treat from the ice-cream man.
