Dad, stop it! You are pushing me too hard. This is not working for me anymore. Don't get me wrong, daddy. I know that you love me and I know that you only want what is best for me. But I am not a kid anymore. I am an adult and I would like to think that by now, I am responsible enough to make good choices. You can't be the one deciding for me all the time. I hate to say this but this is my life, daddy and I feel that I should be the one calling the shots. Look, you are a great doctor and I am proud of being your child. But I hope you can respect my decision of not following your footsteps. Dad, I cannot be a doctor like you. I don't want to be one. I can't stand the mental training in medical school. It's just too much for me. What I want is to become a teacher. It's a simple profession, but it is noble and it will make me happy.
