Just because a contractor says that he can fix a roof or put a new roof does not mean that he can. I cannot hire a contractor especially single ply roofing contractors who cannot deal with simple roofing problems. My sister is a perfectionist, and trusts me when I say that she would never hire a contractor who is incompetent. That I know and that is why I would use her contractor. I have seen him work on her house and together with his team he can do sheeting and cladding with ease. He does not rush and he does take too long. There is this time they were working on the slates and tiles. It took a long time but the end result was marvelous. No wonder my sister hired him. Apparently, he is a perfectionist and together with my sister they understand each other. When she describes what she wants he understands and does everything as she has instructed. This has landed him more contracts because all my sisters' friends want his services. |

There are very few things that my sister and I have in common but when it comes to love of shoes, we are so much alike. Ever since we were kids we spent most of our time playing dress up and wearing our mom’s high heels, even though we keep on stumbling and falling down. We will only stop fooling around when mom started yelling. Now that we are much older and able to afford buying our own stilettos we often meet after work just to see whether there are new styles of shoes worth buying. So you can just imagine how many pairs of shoes we both have that’s why I was so excited that my sister found a really practical shoe storage solution in one of her trips to Italy. She took a picture and I can already imagine installing it in my walk-in closet. I do have custom made shoe boxes but it is still quite bulky and it’s taking so much space that I barely have room for other things fortunately, I will no longer have that problem in a few days when the package arrives. |

One of the busiest rooms in the house is the kitchen. It is no longer an exclusive room for cooking or preparing food but through the years it has been a place of comfort and warmth this is especially true in my mom’s place. Since we have all moved out of the house we only get to see her about once or twice a month to catch up and make sure that she is doing fine. When we are all there, none of us stay in the living room or even in the porch, we are all gathered in mom’s kitchen even after dinner is over, talking happily and joking around. The last time we visited, I noticed that my mother’s kitchen flooring already needs replacement since it is on the verge of deteriorating. I called up my siblings to tell them about this and also to ask them if we could all chip in and surprise our mom by changing her kitchen tiles everyone is amenable so I just volunteered to do the planning and execution. |

One of the many local parks which surround the town of Great Neck on Long Island's North Shore is a haven for anyone and everyone. It is especially beneficial to those with kids. During the warm summer months, there is a small water area that kids can run around in, have fun, and work off their pent up energy - there are also EZ up gazebos there where vendors set up impromptu stalls to sell refreshments. Also during the warmer months, the ice cream truck and Mister Softee make their rounds. The park is relatively large, and while it can get crowded, there is still a place for everyone. Dotted throughout the Park are many large trees. Benches and Tables can be placed under the trees for a little relief from the summer time heat. Parents can relax while kids run through the grass and play with one another. More ambitious parents can join their kids in their frolicking. They too would then deserve a treat from the ice-cream man. |

Fatima Jinnah Park is located in Islamabad - it comprises of one full sector of Islamabad, which means it’s very big. It’s exactly in a square shape and has 3 gates, one at the north, one at the east and one at the south side. It is very near to my home. I go there quite often with friends and family. Its location is very convenient, and it's lush green and full of trees.
There is a McDonald's restaurant located inside it on its south west corner and a Mega zone too is located inside it on its eastern side. Mega zone comprises of an indoor swimming pool, snooker club, laser tag (people have lasers guns and two teams fight in an arena), bowling court and more places of entertainment. Even away from these complexes, you can find many gazebos dotted around the park.
A lake is in the center of the park in which different types of birds and fish live. Fatima Jinnah Park is always full of people but at night time it can get especially crowded. Some visit McDonald's, some go to Mega zone and some roam around the park. There is no difference in park during day and night time because there are so many lights illuminated during night everywhere. |

My friend and I were talking over lunch about so many things. But as always, our favourite topic would be about our dream of building our own houses in the future. While my friend was particular with motif and colours, I would imagine the design of the house itself. I have always wanted felt roofing installed. I would also go for a vintage look, which I find to be really classic and expensive also. You see, we can talk for hours, when it was about our dream houses. I told myself that if I was to dream, I would dream big! We were laughing all the time, because we have these crazy ideas that would crop up every now and then. We had so much fun, and we became so absorbed in our conversation that we lost track of time. We forgot that we were actually just taking a break, and that we were supposed to be back at the workplace thirty five minutes ago. We rushed back to the office as fast as we could. Now, we&rsquore really in trouble. |

Every time my dad would discuss his concerns about his construction firm, it was always uncle Al who understood him. It was because uncle Al is an architect by profession. Although he never worked with my father for any of his projects, they have managed to consult each other every now and then. They have remained supportive of each other's endeavors. Earlier today, they had lunch together. Although I'm not so sure as to the details of their conversation, I have a feeling that dad would ask uncle Al for suggestions with regard to slating and tiling to be used for their next project. Dad had always a high regard for his brother's opinion and uncle Al appreciates it every time, my dad would ask for his suggestions. Meanwhile, uncle Al runs to my father every time he has personal problems - usually it was always about his troubled marriage and his struggles as a father himself. Dad was always available to give his brother advice on personal matters. Their relationship has undeniably gone stronger as the years go by. |

Much has been said about Isabel, the real person who wore the mask of Princess Delfa. Even if she&rsquos not a princess but she has similar qualities with the Princess and also she is the first daughter. If you can remember Mico, that was her real husband. Mico had learned many things in his marriage life. From just a singer in a gang drinking spree who frequent in an open square located in their block, he became a responsible husband as he was. Unfortunately, he died early of an acute diabetes. His three girls have so much memory of him in a cctv dvr kit. Isabel got widowed at a young age. But she is resourceful and diligent woman. She had sent her three kids to school and the first two have already earned a degree and a career on their own. But just lately, her first daughter got married to an uneducated guy. She already has her first grandchild. Her second daughter is working in a far province helping the orphans. And the third one is in the university studying. |
