How security tools easily scam people who are unsuspecting

My mother is a very smart lady. It is very hard for her to get scammed off something that belongs to her. Tricking her never works and she is rarely swayed to do something that she did not plan to do. Well she is not invisible and untouchable by con men online. She is not very good when it comes to doing stuff in the computer. She always pays someone to do something that she has to do instead of doing it herself or if I am there I do it for her. The other day she nearly spent her money on something that was very fake and she was not happy about it. She had started using her computer a lot and she kept on getting these warnings that her computer was at risk of bad software. She nearly fell for the security tools and bought an antivirus that does not even exist or work well. My fiancc installed the security suite virus removal soft sailor to deal and get rid of the security tool and she was grateful. No wonder she did not like the internet.
