My Current State of Health and Recipe for Maintaining Good Health

I must say that I am in good general health as I never suffer from frequent attacks of cold, cough or flu like most people. I'm not obsessive about my health, I just use common sense and eat well. My brother is quite specific about his intake of vitamins and minerals and supplements (e.g. he takes Whey protein for his weight training), but in my book for general good health you just need the basic staples.

In childhood I suffered from tonsillitis a few times but now luckily I do not. However, I do have a few problems that crop up with advancing age or are due to heredity. I do get migraine headaches sometimes. Hormonal disorder like hypothyroidism is not very troublesome as I take the prescribed medication regularly. Very recently I had some knee pain which may be the beginning of arthritis. To prevent any further damage to the knees, I attended a few physiotherapy sessions. Also I avoid activities that will cause too much bending of the knees. To maintain constant weight, I regularly go for a morning walk and do some yoga exercises. I also avoid fatty and junk food. Good health requires a stress free life but none of us can skip the stress associated with our fast-paced lives. Prayer and meditation do offer some relief.
