Whilst over in iraq my husband said to me

It was a Thursday afternoon I was at home with my 2 children tyler and ellie when i received the call from my husband who was on the frontline in iraq. Its daddy i said to the children and their faces beamed with excitement. He asked how we all were and said that he was missing us and we got into a bit of a conversation knowing that he could have to go at anytime we normally kept things short and sweet but not today. He had overheard one of his fellow comrade talking about unemployment benefits for military spouses. He told me to see if I was able to claim for this as a bit of extra money for myself whilst he is away.He had been gone for 6 months already and it was a struggle without him around.Especially with the two little ones, who were missing him just as much as me. But he is doing his job the job that he loves and im proud. Time had gone so quickly and an hour on the phone seemed like minutes and then those words goodbye were here again.
